Shen was an amazing host, handling the session professionally, but in a relaxed and engaging way.
The space that was suggested and provided was also very lovely, being in the centre of a park.
Of course, the tea itself was great, with many varieties present, and the chance to brew your own towards the end of the session.

I can definitely recommend the tea workshop for a team outing :)

Shen leidde ons door haar wereld van speciale artcraft chinese thee. Van earthy hong tot snowy oolong en van mist temple tot de champagne onder de theesoorten: Pu'er. Tijdens deze bijzondere tea journey startten we onze reis met een korte uitleg over de herkomst en traditie van de Chinese theecultuur. Bijzondere theesoorten passeerden de revue. ruiken, walsen, proeven aan deze specialty tea is een ware ervaring. De serene sfeer, het prachtige fijne porseleinen servies en gedegen uitleg van Shen met bijpassende hapjes zullen we deze workshop nog lang blijven herinneren. Een echte aanrader als je fijnproever bent en meer wil leren over zetmethodes, toepassingen en foodparing van deze bijzondere thee.

We organised the workshop for a group of international ladies. Some of the participants had already knowledge and experience about Chinese tea while others were just exploring. Nevertheless, Shen managed to share a lot of stories, history and traditions in a way that was easy to follow for all participants. There is so much to explore and I feel we got a lot out of the workshop: knowledge but also living and experiencing by tasting teas and guessing their flavour profiles. It was informative, interactive and fun.
